Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cheercade ("Cheercade", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit cheercade.com or order a personalized game or print from us. Questions? Email [email protected].
1. What We Make
Cheercade creates personalized retro pixel‑art games. You and your family become characters in a custom browser game, and you can optionally order a physical poster or canvas print of the game's artwork that includes a QR code and link to play. To build your game we use the photos and details you provide.
2. Information We Collect
- Order & account information: your name, email address, shipping address, and order details. Payment is handled by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number.
- Personalization content: the photo(s) you upload and the details you enter (character names, messages, dates, character choices) to create your game and prints.
- Usage & device data: pages visited, session duration, browser and device type, and IP address, collected automatically via cookies and first‑party analytics.
- Cookies & advertising pixels: see Section 7. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure and improve our advertising.
- Support communications: messages you send us by email.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create, produce, and deliver your personalized game and any printed products you order.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To send order confirmations, your game link, and shipping/tracking updates.
- To respond to your support requests (including fixing or remaking an order).
- To measure and improve our website, products, and marketing (including Meta ad campaigns).
- To comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Your Photos & Personalization Data
The photos and details you provide are part of the product you order, so we retain them as needed to build, deliver, support, and reprint your game and prints. We do not use your photos in our own advertising or share them publicly without your permission. You may request deletion of your photos and personal data at any time (see Section 9), subject to records we must keep for legal and accounting reasons.
5. Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by our checkout and payment providers (such as Shopify and PayPal). They handle your card or account details under their own privacy and security policies; Cheercade does not store your full payment credentials.
6. Fulfillment & Shipping Partners
To produce and ship physical posters and canvases, we share the information necessary to fulfill your order (your name, shipping address, and the artwork to be printed) with our print‑on‑demand and fulfillment partners and with shipping carriers. They may only use this information to produce and deliver your order.
7. Cookies & Analytics
- Essential cookies: required for the site, cart, and checkout to function.
- Analytics: first‑party analytics that help us understand how visitors use the site, generally in aggregate.
- Advertising — Meta Pixel & Conversions API: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the performance of our ads and to optimize them. This means certain events (such as page views and purchases) and limited customer information may be shared with Meta, hashed where applicable. You can manage ad personalization in your Meta account settings and control cookies through your browser.
8. Data Retention
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Personalization content (photos and details) is kept while your order is active and for support and reprints, and is deleted on request as described below.
9. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights — including requesting deletion of your account, photos, and personal data — email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children's Privacy
Cheercade is intended for adults purchasing a gift. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.
12. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run our business, as described above, or where required by law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
